Beautiful hotel. Beautiful bar in the lobby with fireplace and fire pit. The view is breathtaking. One tip: don't stay on the second floor over the restaurant: noise of chairs scraping off the floor when the morning cleaning crew comes in woke me up
Simply amazing! Was there to celebrate my son's birthday and it felt like everyone there knew it was his big day. A present in the room & a cake to celebrate. The lobby is always immaculate and everyone they work there is first class.
The view and the food deserve a five star review but the service was about a 1. We arrived about 1 pm on a Sunday to celebrate my Mom's birthday. We did not have reservations but the restaurant was fairly empty. There were a bunch of tables with window views free and I informed the hostess that it is my mom's birthday and requested a window seat. She looked at us and then informed us that she needs to save the window tables for larger parties that might come in and did not seat us at a window. We ordered clam chowder and reuben sandwiches which were brought out by a kitchen staff. The food was excellent. The waitress did not come back once to check on whether we needed more food, whether we liked our meal, whether we needed water or a drink (we did but she never returned). I finally went to the hostess to ask if she could find our missing waitress and send her over with a check and a box for leftovers. Horrible service but like I said the view even from a non window seat was spectacular and the cooking staff did a really great job. The clam chowder was excellent too.
exquisite dining setting, our waitress was flawless and delivered such customized and impeccable service throughout the meal. the views are incredible and the placement of the structure was strategic as could be. definitely another gem to be discovered in Gloucester.
The Beauport Hotel is gorgeous, very well decorated and maintained. The staff is extremely polite and helpful. The views are amazing. The restaurant and bar we're fabulous. I wouldn't hesitate a second to stay here again.
