People certainly are entitled to different tastes, but I hate for "half" the reviews of the Riggs House to be so negative. The innkeeper has done a very nice job of restoring the house and turning it into a B & B with minimal damage to the integrity of the house. Recalling the plan, I don't think there was anywhere to put "en suite" bathrooms without substantial additions. It's been favorably featured in two well-known magazines and the TV series "If Walls Could Talk." But more than that, the innkeeper had a very nice sense of how much we were interested and how much to tell us -- and sent us to one of the best restaurants I've ever been to in my life. We hope to return some day.
