Only negative is more a regional complaint about chopped toppings such as tomato and pickle that is common to other shops as well.

Nice, small hometown establishment that offers a deli like variety of great, fresh options for meals.. whether you want to sit and eat at one of their tables or take it to go..it's convenient, fast and always good
Mediocre sandwiches. They're just not that good. I've gone multiple times and tried different ones, but they were all disappointing. They taste like cheap catered sandwiches that you'd expect to get for free at an event with thousands of people. Not what you'd expect from an old, local sandwich-specialty place. There are many places on the island to get a better sandwich, both local and chain.
Sloppy subs if you get parm anything. Great place to dine in. Also their cheese steaks with extra cheese are great. It's just impossible to eat some sandwiches, less sauce is needed.
Great North Shore sub shop with lots of hot options too. Homemade meatball sub is a favorite in my house. Also a plus if you eat there, sides like pasta salad, potato salad, and coleslaw are free! Reasonable prices and at night the large subs are charged as small.
