Customer service is terrible! I had my floors damaged in AUGUST when they delivered my refrigerator.Doyon's also had to come back with a second refrigerator because the first one they delivered did not work and I lost a second refrigerator full of food! If you are wondering, no Doyon's does not compensate you for your food costs if their appliance does not work! The owner/manager offered me a 5 year warranty option or I could opt to have my floors repaired. I chose to have the floors repaired. I still have had no contact from the floor repair person....since AUGUST! I have been back to Doyon's personally 4 times and called them numerous times and still NOTHING! I like to spend my hard earned money locally in support of the local economy, but I will now need to go out of town for all of my appliance purchases. I suggest everyone do the same!
Just purchased a new refrigerator from Doyons. We couldn't be more pleased.From walking in the door and the assistance from Ben, with his expert knowledge of the appliances. It was delivered on time, it wouldn't fit through the door so the guys had to take off all the doors and then put them back on. There was some trouble connecting the plumbing but Ben drove over and took care of the problem in 10 minutes. Now it is all set up and looking great.
My family has been purchasing all their appliances from Doyons in Reading and Gloucester for decades .
Before purchasing an appliance from this company, be sure to read the reviews of both the Gloucester and Reading locations. Doyon's gets very high marks for sales; it's their service after the sale that is lacking. Evidently they are happy to sell you an appliance, but less willing to stand behind it.
Update: We received a call from Doyon's on December 20th informing us that if we did not remove our prior review (date 12/15/17), they would refuse to provide the scheduled repairs on the refrigerator. Although we certainly would like a working refrigerator ASAP, we chose not to remove the review.

Customer Beware!!! We purchased a full set of appliances at the Gloucester location (microwave, refrigerator, stove and dishwasher) for our new kitchen. We were very happy with the sales team and as noted by others, they met competitors prices. However, when the refrigerator was installed, it didn't work. The serviceman came out and said it needed a new part... this is a brand new appliance-still in plastic! We asked for a replacement and were refused. And then, to add insult to injury...Doyon's is not making the repair until next Thursday. We are without a refrigerator for almost a week! We are saddened by this as we are new to town and prefer to deal with local small businesses. However, this will not be possible for appliances.
Now I wouldn't shop anywhere else. Outstanding all around.
They made good recommendations, and had good quality products at reasonable prices. But the biggest reason why I give them such high marks - I replaced an 18" dishwasher with a 24", thinking I had enough spare space. But there were problems. Doyon's worked with me, and were willing to bend policies and rules to allow me to return it. Happily a plumber was able to make the space larger, but Doyon's flexibility is a big reason to shop local rather than the big box stores. Great service!
